There's a wealth of literature about the age of the industrial revolution, about the plight of the working classes, before we had labour laws and market regulation. It was a really bad time. Things only got better when social activists took advantage of their democracy and the power of their numbers to impose better conditions on their employers. Unions played a? big part in it. But it was collective bargaining, coming together as a class, which turned it around.

The reason why child labor ended was because people started earning enough money so they could send their children to school instead of letting them work. If you look all over asia the children are going back to school by their millions although they havent? passed any laws preventing child labour yet.

You don't need a job to eat, Henry David Thoreau lived out in front of walden pond, he didn't need a job. So whats stopping you? Frankly? Extend home loans to 100yrs & halve the repayments somehow not sure that will work? but anyway. this has nothing to do with what the currency purchases & the decline of currencies. For the most part Ron Paul doesn't? support them either since they have no real message or suggestions on how to fix the problem. Schiff is trying to get them to realize that the main problem is with the people giving the banks your money (same as RP) and not with the people taking it. They should be marching on the Fed and Capitol hill to fix the cause of the problem and not the effect.
